Saba 50

Just ended a lovely week aboard a SABA 50 catamaran on the Dalmatian coast. The boat was spotless and a pure pleasure. Having sailed only mono hulls in the past it was astounding how comfortable the boat was. Heads are very comfortable, even showering is very good. Beds are very comfortable. Galley is gorgeous and perfect for cooking and entertaining, with both interior and exterior covered dining options. Lots of spacious and gorgeous spaces on deck to relax, sunbathe or read. Boat sails well on a reach, we made 9 knots in a brisk wind. I don't think it points into the wind all that well, but motoring is very quiet and we averaged about 8 knots while motoring. Check-in in Trogir was simple, and very friendly. We asked for a few extra pillows and towels and they arrived promptly. Marinas on islands were all clean and well managed, with clean public facilities for showering if you wanted to get off the boat, but as I said showers on boat are very good. Our crew was terrific. Both Tonci and Kiara were delightful company, spoke English flawlessly and handled their responsibilities beautifully. We would do this trip again in a minute. Three cheers for the operator!
