Accoglienza straordinaria del Charter Asia Marine a Phuket Haven Marina. Check in e navigation brief ben fatto, con pazienza e disponibilitá assoluta da parte dello staff. Ottima l’assistenza in banchina da parte dello staff del charter, sia in uscita che al rientro. Aspetti che non mi sono piaciuti della barca (Hanse 385): - Razzi di emergenza scaduti a bordo. Ho chiesto di sostituirli con altri nuovi - Avvolgifiocco si rompe al primo tentativo di aprire il fiocco: buona l’assistenza in giornata per ripararlo - raccordo della pompa dell’acqua dolce che si rompe, qualche litro d’acqua finisce sul pavimento della cabina di prua ed in sentina. Lo sistemo sostituendo le fascette metalliche - Serbatoio del fuoribordo vuoto. Mea culpa che non l’ho controllato al primo utilizzo, siamo rientrati in barca a remi - Elettronica di bordo obsoleta e schermi oscurati dall’usura che non consentivano di vedere bene le indicazion.

Panorami fantastici,i sole indimenticabili sia quelle super turistiche come Phi Phi dove comunque puoi trovare la baia tranquilla a quelle più selvaggie come Ko Yao Yai o quelle del parco a Ko Hang; barca hanse 385 con vele nuove fiocco autovirante e randa full batten con 2 mani il tutto ottimo visto il vento sempre fra i 12 e i 20 kns monsone di nord est,interni comodi,cucina funzionale e frigo molto capiente,ottima la strumentazione B6G, importante per controllare la batimetrica visto la marea di 2mt e trenta e la corrente anche di sei nodi con tanti bassi fondi in agguato. Ottima la base di partenza Yacht Haven Marina ad un ora dal centro di Puhket ma a 20 minuti dall'aeroporto.

We charted with Bao as Captain and Yut as a cook. Both were excellent! Everything about the charter was great, my only comment for improvement would be to have better communication in English with the Captain in order to be able to align better on our desire to helm and crew more.

We had a great time and everything went well. Challenges with the generator and the small outboard for the dingy. We lost the generator on the 4th day and could not run the AC or chill box and lost some food as a result. The small outboard ran, but could not produce forward thrust to get you moving faster than a paddle speed at best. Charter company ran another out board out to us and recognized that the generator was not repairable and offered a discount on our charter that was acceptable. Everything else went as expected and planned. Given the number of moving parts on a trip like this, we can say it went very smooth. Would definitely charter again with the company, staff is exceptional and knowledgeable. Stephen

Very helpful and friendly staff at the base. Adam advised expertly on route and good places to stop. Yacht Haven Marina is a great facility with showers and a nice restaurant. Boat was exactly as expected. There is a not a real supermarket at the marina, just a very small shop. A €50 return taxi is required to get to the Tesco or Macros for provisions. Bottled water is very expensive on the islands once you are sailing.

Having Bareboat charterd on numerous occasoions i would put the experience up there as one of the best. The team are professional and everything was well presented. I would recomend doing a trip on on this boat. Both check in and cj=heck out was quick and easy. The boat is in good condition and sales well. Enjoy
